Frequently Asked Questions

  • We work with standard changeover days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Short or modified rental periods are sometimes possible in the early or late season. This is on request, info@zonzeestrand.nl

  • Yes it is! The calendars are already filling up with the new reservations. 

  • Search for your stay via our site. The information pages of our accommodations are at the bottom of the agenda. When you click on the desired date you will see the rental amount for the indicated accommodation and rental period. Is this what you want? Then click on Book and fill in the booking form. You will then receive a confirmation from us by email with all further additional information.

    Given the constantly changing developments regarding. Corona we recommend that you take out travel and / or cancellation insurance with your own insurance advisor.

  • Bed linen is provided at the Duynsuites aan Zee and Duynpark het Zwanenwater.

    At the other accommodations you can either bring your own bed linen or rent it for 7.50 euros per person per set. You can bring your own towels for all stays or rent them from us for 5 euros per set (1 large and 1 small) per person.

  • Arrival is from 4 pm and departure at 9.30 am. Earlier arrival is always possible. However, we cannot guarantee whether your accommodation will be clean by then. However, you can already leave your belongings with us and discover the beach or village square, relax at WOEST or do some shopping.

  • The final cleaning is mandatory, so you cannot carry it out yourself. The costs of the final cleaning are stated per stay.

  • Yes, that is possible in consultation. Please contact us by e-mail or telephone so that we can indicate whether you can get an option for 2 days.

  • You pay 30%. The balance payment is due 30 days before arrival. If your arrival is within 30 days, we ask you to pay the entire amount in one go.

  • Our administration regularly performs a payment check.
    You will be notified of this after your payment has been processed.
    The confirmation of receipt of the deposit contains further information about the remaining payment.
    After receipt of the complete amount, you will be notified again. Including other arrival information for your stay.

  • What to do if we have to cancel?
    The following provisions apply to cancellations:
    a. If canceled more than 10 weeks before the start of your stay, this will cost you nothing.
    b. If canceled within 10 to 1 week before the start of your stay, you owe 30% of the rental amount.
    c. In case of cancellation within 1 week before the start of your stay, you owe the full booking amount.

  • The developments surrounding the corona virus raise many questions, including among you, our guests. On this page we try to answer as many frequently asked questions as possible. We keep a close eye on the development of the corona virus. We monitor the measures taken by the RIVM, the GGD and the government. We would like to let you know that we try with our colleagues to answer all your questions as quickly and properly as possible.

  • We keep a close eye on the current state of affairs. When measures are announced by our safety region that apply to our park, we adapt to them. The restrictions of, among other things, the closure of the catering industry are not a valid reason not to travel to Callantsoog.

  • If we can no longer offer your holiday due to measures imposed by the security region, we will inform you about this. We will then contact you by e-mail or telephone. In that case you are entitled to a value voucher / rebooking.

  • Rebooking is possible if your stay takes place during a period when restrictive measures apply to our park and we cannot offer your holiday. For example, when we have to close our houses or one of our facilities by order of the security region. For a corona related rebooking, our normal cancellation policy never comes into effect.

    •     Free rebooking is possible once for the same accommodation to another period.
    •     If the costs for the newly selected period and / or accommodation are higher, they will be for your account as a guest.
    •     If the holiday becomes cheaper, there will be no refund.
    •     We only provide a rebooking guarantee on bookings made through www.zonzeestrand.nl or through our reception.
    •     Book up to 1 year from date of original arrival date.

    We will convert the payment (s) already made into a voucher if you do not have a new date in mind. This means that we will park the amount already paid for you until you have found a new date.
    Please check the current availability yourself before contacting us by e-mail about rebooking your holiday. You can easily view this online on our website.

  • Have you booked a stay in one of our group accommodations and does your arrival date fall within the period in which a restriction on the number of people applies by the government? Then we will be happy to look with you at the possibilities of rebooking your holiday to another period. There are a number of conditions attached to rebooking your holiday. For a corona related rebooking, our normal cancellation policy never comes into effect.

    •     Free rebooking is possible once for the same group accommodation to another period.
    •     Free rebooking is possible once to multiple accommodations for the same period. Subject to availability.
    •     If the costs for the newly selected period and / or accommodation are higher, they will be for your account as a guest.
    •     If the holiday becomes cheaper, there will be no refund.
    •     We only provide a rebooking guarantee on bookings made through www.zonzeestrand.nl or through our reception.
    •     Book up to 1 year from date of original arrival date.

  • Check the conditions of your own cancellation insurance. We do not offer cancellation insurance and recommend that all guests, if you do not have cancellation insurance, take it out themselves.

    If you have become ill yourself, you can rely on your own cancellation insurance. Whether a reimbursement will then take place depends on your insurance / insurer.

    At the moment there is no outbreak of the Coronavirus in the regions where our holiday parks are located. Free cancellation is therefore not applicable.

    There are, however, limiting conditions with regard to the important one and a half meter measure that applies in the Netherlands.

    If you nevertheless wish to cancel definitively, we use the following cancellation conditions:

    •      Cancellation more than 28 days before the planned arrival date against a 30% cancellation fee, calculated on the rent.
    •      Cancellation within 28 days before the planned arrival date against a 50% cancellation fee, calculated on the rent
  • For bookings with an arrival up to March 31, 2021, we always offer the possibility to rebook your holiday up to 1 day before arrival to another period, with a maximum arrival date of 31-12-2021 in the case of one of the following reasons:

    •      Closed border (not applicable for residents of the Netherlands)
    •      A negative travel advice, from code red
    •      A quarantine obligation in combination with a negative travel advice, from code red

    This warranty is only valid when stated on the official government website.
